The following books have been written by Professor Jerry Alan Johnson and contain translated texts from ancient Zheng Yi Daoist Mysticism. Each of these books include many esoteric practices traditionally used in ancient Daoist sorcery. This information was originally gathered for Professor Johnson’s personal use and kept within the confines of his private library. Although this information has been jealously guarded for centuries, the purpose for privately gathering this knowledge was to ensure that the true methods of esoteric Daoist mysticism never fell into the wrong hands. However, as the PRC's Ministry of Religion continues to focus their attention on mass marketing of ancient Daoist temples in order to enhance the financial potential of religious tourism, the true art of Daoist mysticism has fallen into the trap of Western commercialization.
